Christopher A. Hopkins, CPA, Managing Director
Chris has over 20 years experience in accounting, tax and financial reporting. Beginning his career with Arthur Andersen in 1989, Chris went on to serve as financial controller for several publicly-held companies in the United States and Great Britain before becoming partner in a southeast Texas accounting firm. Chris joined MH&S in early 2004 and became Director that same year. In addition to hobbies that include jogging, reading and various outdoor activities, Chris is very active in his son's school and sports activities. Chris is a 1989 graduate of Southwestern University and earned his certificate to practice public accounting in 1992.

David R. Hopkins, Senior Advisor
Dave brings over forty years of financial and operational experience to his position. Most recently, until his retirement in 2007, Dave was the Senior Vice President for Waste Management's Southern Group which handled approximately $3.5 billion in revenues and included operations in 12 states and Puerto Rico. Prior to that Dave was the CEO of Waste Management International, a $1.7 billion revenue subsidiary with operations in Europe, Asia, South America, Australia and New Zealand. Additionally, Dave was VP, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of Browning-Ferris Industries (BFI) for eleven years here in Houston prior to his time at Waste Management.

Tami A. DiSalvo, CPA - Senior Accountant
Tami joined the MH&S team in 2008. She has over 16 years of experience in accounting and auditing. Tami graduated from Colgate University and received her Masters in Accounting from Northeastern University. She earned her CPA license in Massachusetts and also has privileges in Illinois and Texas. Tami and her husband, Phil, are the parents of two boys, Jake, 17, and Cooper, 13. She enjoys attending their sports and school activities. Her other interests include traveling, cooking, exercising and following the Boston Red Sox.

Elizabeth B. Burkhart, Associate
Elizabeth joined MH&S in April 2010 and brings nearly 10 years of business administration experience to the firm. Elizabeth is a 1999 graduate of Baylor University and has experience working in the financial services sector as well as several charity organizations.

Sherye L. Beckman, Office Manager
Sherye has been the Office Manager with MH&S for over two years. She and her husband, Chuck, have lived in Houston for four years; as natives of Michigan, they enjoy traveling there during the summer to spend time with family and friends. Sherye also enjoys decorating, traveling, and movies.
